Tempered Glass

Tempered glass is made of the common glass which is quickly cooked after heating so as to furnish the glass with an enhanced mechanical strength. The tempered glass is widely used for furniture, decoration and construction because of its high resistance to pressure and safety performance. High Strength: at the same thickness, the bending resistance strength and the impact resistance are both 4-5 times higher than the common glass. Safety: once the glass is broken, the pieces are in particle shape with obtuse angles (free of sharp angles) so as to protect people from being injured. Heat Stability: thermal impact resistance and able to withstand a temperature change from ?0°C to 327°C without spontaneously breaking. The bearing strength is 3 times that of the common glass. The tempered glass is principally applied in the glass curtail walls, doors and windows bearing a large pressure, buildings where the glass may be impacted, outer wall or curtain walls with heat-absorbing glass, underwater glass bearing a big water pressure.
